At today's meeting of the Rotary Club of Golden, Boy Scout Camden Dempsey shared the scope of his Eagle Scout project in March/April 2018.  Working with The Nature Conservancy and the Boy Scouts of America, Camden proposes to plant upwards of 100 trees in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, with the help of 20-30 volunteers, in an effort to:
  • Mitigate soil erosion and promote a better ecosystem;
  • Reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere; and
  • Strengthen international ties of the Boy Scouts of America.
